
SILVERADO SOUNDS
When the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado launched, we wanted to make some noise - literally.
Launched in coordination with Commonwealth//McCann's own broadcast spots, our Chevrolet Social Media team scripted four distinct scenes and the unique sounds therein to create a wholly original and organic version of the classic track, "A Little Bit Country, a Little Bit Rock and Roll." This 1:00 music video showcases the many features of the vehicle has but also varied and unique Silverado owners are.
We premiered Silverado Sounds to more than 12M views on Twitter alone in the first week. We presented this in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 aspect ratios to ensure optimal viewing experience no matter the platform.
Of course, we wanted to "use the whole buffalo" and maximize the investment in production throughout 2019. I ensured we would have enough working pieces and additional footage to craft short paid ad units on Facebook and Twitter, compelling in-feed and organic posts across Snapchat, Instagram and Pinterest to create the most amount of utility and return on investment from a conservative budget.
Silverado Sounds was shortlisted for the 2019 D Show Awards for best sound design, best brand video and best cinematography.
